On Saturday, we had the pleasure of photographing Sam and James' Wedding. It was a lovely, relaxed occasion, and enjoyed by everyone.
The day started with the ceremony which was held at The Horse's Trust in Speen, a place special to Sam as she used to work there. Sam arrived by car with her bridesmaids and flower girl who is also their daughter; Emily. She then arrived at the ceremony by horse and carriage with her Brother, Adryen. The horse pulling the carrige; Star was one of the horses rescued by The Horses Trust when Sam still worked there.
After the ceremony, Sam and James got in the carriage and were taken off by Star. As they came back, guests were lining up to throw their confetti over the newly weds. We then lined everyone up to capture the photograph of all the guest and the much loved family dog, Lucy who seemed to enjoy the taste of Sam's Bouquet. Guests enjoyed teas and coffees before moving onto the reception venue, the RAFA Club at Totteridge Road.
The relaxed atmosphere continued throughout the day, guests were welcomed to the RAFA Club with a glass of champagne to celebrate and helped themselves to a large buffet all afternoon. Sam had planned a surprise for James, a wonderful Mariachi Band who entertained us all for a few hours. Emily in particular really enjoyed the music and dancing with her mum and dad.
The fantastic speeches followed, giving everyone insight into some of the hilarious stories of James and Sam. Guests enjoyed more food with a Hog Roast before the cutting of the awesome Pork Pie cake and we then had Sam and James' first dance.
Here is a preview of a few of our favourite photographs from the day, and congratulations to the happy couple!
