Yesterday, I photographed my cousin's beautiful wedding held at The Great Barn in Aynho. Christine and Nicky had a night before the wedding party which was on Friday night, 9th May at the Cartwright Hotel. This was a wonderful evening where two families were brought together and introduced before the big day over a wonderful meal and some drinks.
On the 10th May, the wedding day began. The day started at the Cartwright Hotel, in room 7. Hair was well underway as I arrived and the bride and bridesmaids were all very excited and looking stunning. Once Christine had popped the champagne, I hopped across the hall to room 5, to see the groom, Nicky, who was waiting for his ushers to arrive before heading down to the bar for a drink before the ceremony. All the ushers were clearly very excited and supportive of the wedding that was about to take place which was so lovely to see so many happy and smiling faces.
Flossy arrived looking beautiful and white to take the Ushers and Groom to the ceremony to greet all the guests. Christine was still in room 7 with the Bridesmaids, all about to get into their dresses. They all looked so stunning and so happy while controlling emotions as Christine was in her dress and her vail was placed on.
The Great Barn where the ceremony was held, looked amazing. As Christine walked down the isle with her dad, Stephen, all the guests and Christine and Nicky were trying to control their emotions, Christine and Nicky looked wonderful and are perfect for each other, the speeches later on reassured this.
We had an amazing meal followed by a small reception which included a Photo Booth which was perfect for guests to dress up and receive a free print of the photos taken. The dance floor was opened at 7pm when Mr and Mrs Maclean had their first dance as a married couple.
I wish Christine and Nicky the very best for the future and thank you for a wonderful day, for now, here are a few photos taken from the 10th May 2014 for you to enjoy, and have an amazing honeymoon....
