Hazlemere Tennis Club Finals Day 2017

This year on July 1st, the finals were played at Hazlemere Tennis Club. It was a wonderful occasion as it always is each year to watch some incredible tennis and celebrate with the finalists the best players of the Club. I had the pleasure of photographing the finalists and prize giving.

The day started promptly at 1pm for the Ladies Singles and Men's Single's. Then followed the Ladies Doubles and Men's Doubles and finished with the Mixed Doubles.

As always it was a lovely social occasion that brings everyone at the club together. There was a great selection of sandwiches and cakes for everyone to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee whilst watching all the tennis.

The day finished with the prize giving followed by the tradition with Claire Baldock who read a Ditto she had written throughout the day about the matches.

Shiela Tubby beat Claire Baldock in the Ladies Singles

James Hayes beat James Phimister in the Men's Singles

Shiela Tubby and Sue Crooks beat Laura Carter and Sue Roz in the Ladies Doubles

James Hayes and James Phimister beat Paul Widdowson and Andy Pearce in the Men's Doubles

Shiela Tubby and Gordon Reed beat Becks Hickman and Andy Pearce in the Mixed Doubles
